Memorial services
Respect your loved one’s memory with a formal and calm event in the middle of beautiful nature. We have organized family celebrations in Kuninkaan Lohet for over 20 years. We help you to organize a memorial service in the middle of mourning with sympathy and professional skills! We plan an event according to your wishes and you only need to take care of practical things at the venue. Both small and big memorial services are possible at Vanha Viilatehdas and Kuninkaan Kartano.
Saturdays minimum group size is 20 persons, Sundays we are closed.
Vanha Viilatehdas
Files were made in the Dahlfors file factory until the 1960s, and now this wonderful renovated factory hall is a place for both company events and private events. Vanha Viilatehdas is a building protected by the Finnish National Board of Antiquities, and even today, you can feel the history in the factory’s great cabinets with walls built of bricks and stones.
Kuninkaan Kartano
The now renovated cabinets of Kuninkaan Kartano served as classrooms for the Swedish-language primary school in the end of the 1970s, and later as training places of the city of Vantaa. Nowadays the lovely Gustavian estate atmosphere is great for organizing company and family parties.

Memorial service with buffet min. 20 persons
In the middle of mourning, planning an event can feel tough. We have prepared for you a package that suits memorial services with minimum of 20 people.
The package includes:
- buffet
- a private cabinet for two hours (at Kuninkaan Kartano or Vanha Viilatehdas)
- the house’s decorations: candlesticks and long white candles and the house’s flower decorations
- A memorial table with a cloth and a candle

We help you at designing a memorial service in the middle of great sorrow! If you want a lighter buffet option, you can choose coffee buffet with salty and sweet treats.
